I started very late & missed the 1st deadline of few good schools like Wharton & Columbia etc.

Is it like i am too late to start now? I spoke to some experienced people & they say that chances to get selected in 2nd round are very less.  

pls guide me. I have 3 years of IT industry exp. I am currently based in USA for my official project. My GMAT score is 710.
