Advisors

Biplav
Biplav graduated as an Honor student from UCLA Anderson after being listed in the Dean's list on several occasions. He was active in student leadership as VP-Hi Tech Business Association, Executive Board member of IS Associates and Management Development for Entrepreneur Fellow. Biplav was awarded the highest fellowship award of $40,000 mainly due to the strength of his application essays.

Biplav’s corporate experience has spanned across various roles ranging from Telecom domain consultant to Finance Manager and entrepreneurship. He has lived and worked in three continents which helped him develop deeper appreciation for socio-cultural differences across geographies.
Biplav holds an undergraduate degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IT-BHU. During his undergrad days, he was actively involved in literary activities often penning down his thoughts for national dailies. Biplav has helped dozens of prospective students write engaging stories and his thoughts have been published on various platforms including BusinessWeek.

Shrish
Shrish holds an MBA from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management, Finance and International Business. During his MBA, Shrish worked as a management consultant with a top four consulting firm, devised social media strategy for nation's largest drivers’ education company, and dabbled in private equity while sourcing deals in Energy Efficiency and Clean Tech.

In another life prior to B-School, Shrish was an engineer in Silicon Valley designing products and services in Telecom and Internet domains. Shrish holds BS and MS in Computer Science from Institute of Technology BHU and Purdue University respectively. During his spare time, Shrish enjoys exploring the outdoors, analyzing economic issues and drawing cartoons. Shrish, however, is most passionate about mentoring aspiring students and helping them realize their chosen goals.

Nikhil
Nikhil is an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. During his Anderson days, Nikhil was an active member of multiple student clubs such as Investment Finance Club, Management Consulting Association, and Entrepreneurs Association. Nikhil also served on Anderson’s Core Student Council as the President of the South Asian Business Association (SABA).

Driven to contribute to Anderson's diverse cultural fabric, Nikhil helped develop programs to orient the incoming international students and the work with the Dean's office to promote the UCLA Anderson’s Full-Time program to prospective South Asian applicants. As part of the Entrepreneurship Association’s Vistage (CEO Forum) and Management Development for Entrepreneurs (MDE) programs, Nikhil met with successful entrepreneurs and assisted them in developing business plans to expand their businesses.
Nikhil holds a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Institute of Technology – Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU). Professionally, Nikhil has 8 years of experience in the Technology industry in a variety of roles such as Sr. Business Development Manager advising senior managers at Fortune 500 firms and as Director, Product Management at an entrepreneurial company. Nikhil has been helping and advising MBA applicants since 2007 with considerable success.

LA is a graduate of Harvard Business School. He has extensive experience in mentoring students from his days at IIT Bombay as well as professional coaching for clients from his projects with McKinsey. Over the past two years, he has mentored many students in preparing applications for top business schools in the US.

His mentees value his critical and objective input as well as his patience in conducting multiple review sessions to ensure that the candidate is satisfied that he/she has put the best effort possible into the application.
